About

Currently, Scott Leverenz works as Senior Commercial Design/Build Sales Engineer for Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning in Portland, Oregon.

In 1989, with a partner, started Climate Control, Inc, and in a few short years, was able to fast forward the business to become one of Lennox Industries first Five-Star Dealers. In 1993, Scott, along with his wife, Angie purchased Allied Mechanical Contactors in Hillsboro, Oregon. They closed Allied in 2001 when Scott switched gears and went to work with Jacobs, to concentrate on the booming urban mixed-use market in Portland.

Angie works in her ecommerce business, FurnaceFilters.com, selling residential replacement filters across the country over the internet.

Over the years, Scott has developed HVAC related products, materials and software packages, including a commercial planned maintenance program, a residential lead tracking program, HVAC Job Descriptions, HVAC Employee Handbook, HVAC Business Plan Workbook and other forms, worksheets and HVAC marketing materials. These materials are available at his website, HVACPlanet.com

Very active in the HVAC industry, Scott helped start the Portland chapter of Air Conditioning Contractors of America Chapter (ORACCA) and served as the chapter's first president. He also served on the ACCA Board of Directors (1999 - 2001).
